Iraq National Week

During Iraq National Week… Diyala Basic Education College plants the seeds of the future in the minds of its students
As part of the celebrations of the Faculty of Basic Education at the University of Diyala for Iraqi National Week, and in accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and in line with the directives of the University Presidency, the faculty organized an extensive awareness campaign entitled “Good Education is the Foundation of the Future,” in cooperation with the Student Activities Unit and the Cultural Unit.
The campaign aimed to highlight the importance of education as a pivotal element in building individuals and society, and to promote a culture of quality in educational institutions. The campaign included a series of awareness-raising activities, most notably the distribution of educational brochures reflecting the college’s goals and future vision, in addition to focusing on a number of key themes, including: emphasizing the importance of quality education in building a sustainable future. Highlighting the role of teachers in instilling values of quality and knowledge. Encouraging students to be creative and think critically. Promoting a culture of gender equality in education, thereby reinforcing the principle of equal opportunities.
The campaign saw the active participation of a number of professors from the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, who emphasized the need to develop curricula and improve the educational environment in line with the requirements of the modern digital age and to support innovation in the educational process.
This campaign comes within the framework of the college’s commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, which focuses on ensuring equitable and inclusive quality education for all and promoting lifelong learning opportunities.
