The campaign, led by Dr. Tayf Ali Ibrahim and Assistant Professor Ruqaya Sabri Hashim, distribution of numerous posters and awareness leaflets designed in an attractive visual style, illustrating the devastating effects of drugs on the nervous system and academic future, as well as exposing the methods used by drug dealers to lure young people and how to counter them.
The campaign aimed to build a wall of knowledge among students and turn each student into an ‘awareness ambassador’ in their social circle by understanding the warning signs of addiction and identifying the official legal and health channels for seeking help. This campaign is part of the college’s national and periodic programme to protect young people from falling into the trap of substance abuse and to ensure a clean and stable university environment.
