The academic launchpad starts here… Coordination meeting between the Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs at the College of Basic Education in Diyala and officials from the departments and units affiliated with his office
In order to ensure an effective and organized start to the current academic year, the Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Haider Abdulbaqi Abbas, held an extensive meeting with officials from the departments and administrative units associated with his office at the College of Basic Education at the University of Diyala on the morning of Thursday, October 9, 2025, in the college’s official meeting room.
The meeting reviewed the administrative work in the various departments and units, and the officials discussed their preparations for implementing the scientific and administrative programs and plans for the academic year (2025-2026) in line with the directives of the deanship and the approved academic standards.
During the meeting, the Scientific Assistant emphasized the importance of organizing administrative procedures and integrating roles between departments and units to ensure smooth and accurate performance, calling for redoubled efforts during this stage to ensure a stimulating and integrated educational environment.
The meeting also included a comprehensive review of the needs of the departments and units in terms of work requirements, updating databases, and coordinating work according to a specific schedule, thereby enhancing administrative efficiency and keeping pace with the requirements of the educational process.
At the end of the meeting, the Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs praised the great efforts made by the heads of departments and units, commending the level of organization and commitment to accomplishing the tasks assigned in a spirit of teamwork, and emphasizing that these efforts represent a fundamental pillar in supporting the educational process and improving the quality of institutional performance.
This meeting is in line with the sustainable development goals that the college seeks to embody in its plans and programs, particularly Goal 4: “Quality Education,” by promoting a supportive administrative environment that contributes to providing comprehensive, equitable, and high-quality education.
