
The college gets ready for the final exam
The start of higher education exams and preparations for the end-of-semester exams for undergraduate students were on the agenda of the sixth meeting of the Faculty Council.
The Faculty of Basic Education at the University of Diyala held its sixth meeting for the academic year 2025–2026 on the morning of Sunday, 21 December 2025, in the faculty meeting room, chaired by Assistant Professor Dr Ayman Abdul Aoun, Dean of the Faculty, and attended by the heads of the academic departments and all members of the council, to finalise the details of education and higher education files.
The Dean began the meeting by expressing his sincere gratitude to the members of the Faculty Council for their dedication, considerable efforts, and commitment to providing their best during the past period, emphasising that joint efforts are the cornerstone of academic advancement. The Dean also stressed the need to adhere to the directives of the University Council’s recent meeting, particularly with regard to sound administrative and service performance.
The meeting focused on following up on the start of the postgraduate exams, which began today, with an emphasis on providing all the logistical and technical requirements for their success. The Council also discussed early preparations for the end-of-semester exams for undergraduate students, directing that exam halls and committees be prepared in accordance with approved standards. The meeting addressed a number of administrative issues and student affairs, and the Council took decisive decisions on them in accordance with its powers, ensuring the smooth running of institutional work.
