Diyala continues the second day of the Science Teacher Success Course
As part of the practical development curriculum for the Science Department for the first semester, the Faculty of Basic Education at the University of Diyala continued for the second consecutive day the intensive development course for fourth-year students entitled ‘Important Aspects of Science Teacher Success,’ which is held in cooperation with the Continuing Education Division and in coordination with the Media and Government Communications Division.
The second day saw the completion of vital topics aimed at refining the professional personality of future teachers and providing them with modern educational tools. In addition to learning about active learning methods and how to conduct achievement tests for students, a group of specialist professors lectured at today’s events, including Assistant Professor Dr. Israa Akef Ali Al-Obaidi, Assistant Professor Israa Naji Kazim, and Assistant Teacher Muhammad Shaker Mahmoud.
Discussions on the second day focused on deepening the participants’ practical skills through:
Enhancing educational planning: completing the practical aspects of the five-year plan and how to translate it into reality in the classroom. Effective communication: analysing realistic scenarios for educational communication skills and their direct relationship to attracting students’ attention and achieving educational success. How to use assessment and active learning techniques: Focusing on practical mechanisms for preparing fair scientific tests and applying active learning strategies that make the student the focus of the educational process.
