
Knowledge becomes visual impact
In a volunteer initiative by students of the Psychological Counselling and Educational Guidance Department at Diyala University
Under the auspices of the Psychological Counselling and Educational Guidance Department, and under the supervision of assistant teacher Ru’a Malik Hussein, third-year students – morning study, as part of the requirements of the Personality Psychology course, a unique volunteer project that involved preparing educational posters that explain the scientific material in a simplified manner and in the form of educational guidance charts, dedicated to the Department of Psychological Counselling and Educational Guidance.
This volunteer work aims to enhance the practical understanding of personality psychology concepts, link theory with practical application, and support the educational and guidance environment with visual aids that contribute to conveying information in a clear and attractive manner, serving students and visitors to the department.
This initiative comes within the framework of encouraging students to engage in meaningful volunteer work, developing their spirit of initiative and social responsibility, in addition to consolidating the values of cooperation between students and academic departments, and highlighting the role of applied activities in developing the university educational process.
The posters reflected a high level of creativity and scientific accuracy, as they were designed in a simplified educational style that takes into account individual differences and contributes to supporting psychological and guidance aspects, thereby enhancing the role of the Psychological Counselling and Educational Guidance Department in performing its academic and awareness-raising tasks.
